The real title for this post should be “How I Got Suckered into Pulling on a Banner I Swore I’d Skip.” It happened in two easy steps, actually. Step 1: Xavier’s accent and outfit. Step 2: Zayne’s accent and outfit. Yes, I’m that easy. No, I’m not proud of it.
So I made the decision to pull for those two. The problem was I didn’t want to eat too much into my stash of diamonds, because there are a few reruns I’m saving for. So in order to save my future self some real currency, I had to preserve my fake currency by spending real currency. If that sounds stupid, it’s because it is.
Anyway, now that I had pulled on a few banners, I knew what to expect. I started with 51 pulls left until 5-star. Based on previous experience, I guessed that I would lose my 50/50 and then get taken close to hard pity. I’ve just accepted that that is how my relationship with Xavier works. I was hoping to lose it to Zayne, but honestly I just prayed that I didn’t lose to a standard. Doubly so because I was spending real money. As expected, I lost to Rafayel and Xavier came home late. Side note, Rafayel almost always comes home first when I choose Xavier as my precise wish. I think he’s trying to be my main. I’m not mad about it 😂
After dragging Xavier home, I bought the rest of the packs I was willing to and eventually started dipping into my stash. At this point I started to get nervous because if I lost my 50/50… I’d have to give up. I was not about to do another 70 pulls. I have BILLS. Thankfully I won, so I didn’t have to worry about it this time. But now that I’m not half asleep, I realize that even if I lost, I was only 25 pulls from the crate, so I would’ve gotten him either way 😅
So after emptying my wallet and dipping into my stash, I walked away with Xavier, Rafayel and Zayne (and their outfits) in 175 pulls. I regret nothing. *Blatantly ignores the amount of money I spent*
